Fantastic flowers and loving couples in the tender paintings of the artist-romance Yevgeny Kuznetsov

Romanticism in the visual arts in all ages attracted masters very much, it was always very vividly manifested both in painting and in graphics. Speaking about the romantic artists of our time, first of all it is worth noting the painter from Stavropol Yevgeny Kuznetsov, who has a bright multi-faceted talent, deep philosophical thinking, who owns an original style and an extraordinary vision of beauty.

In contrast to the classicism that praises the power of the human mind, romantics have always sought to convey to the viewer feelings: love and tenderness, violent passion and trembling, daydreaming and euphoria that can absorb a person entirely, taking possession of thoughts and actions. Therefore, the audience of all eras to romanticism has always been treated in a special way …

Yevgeny Kuznetsov – hereditary artist, originally from Stavropol. To say that “I went in the footsteps of my father” cannot be said: paying tribute to the academic direction of his father’s handwriting, the son still went his own way. And to say that Eugene since childhood was fond of drawing as you can not say: only in 7th grade a teenager made the first steps in painting. And already later, the Art School of his native city and the Kuban State University of Painting and Graphics gave the young man a good start.

Since 1981, Evgeny Kuznetsov has been a regular participant in various exhibitions of the country. A little later, international art forums held in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Vietnam, Egypt, Korea, India, Nepal, USA …

In the early 90s, Evgeny Georgievich was accepted into the Union of Artists of Russia. A little later he received membership in the International public organization of painters “Sunny Square”. And in 2012, the masters awarded the gold medal of the Russian Academy of Arts.

Yevgeny Kuznetsov as an artist is incomprehensible and unpredictable. He uses in various combinations abstraction fantasy and mysticism, allegory and symbolism, subordinating them to his non-standard thinking. He is artistic and intelligent, slightly mysterious and well erudite, he is always ready to experiment and create something new that another person never comes to mind. Having conceived the main plot of the painting, the master almost always completes the work, changes it beyond recognition: new artistic images appear, the mood and sometimes visual means and methods change.

In addition, the artist is in constant search for new techniques and materials in his work. So, paper pasting and the use of transparent gels creates the effect of volume and texture, which is a special feature of all the works of the master.

Kuznetsov himself describes the process of creating his creations: “So many accidents. Shards of a mirror that once reflected a beautiful and harmonious world. Everything is shattered and mixed. But all the parts are still alive, you can try to fold them again. If only to know that, the former order. So many possibilities. Those parts that were so distant from each other, suddenly lay down side by side, came together, almost came together, and what showed them a new, ancient, secret connection. It’s funny and seriously minor in a major, emphasis on a weak beat, blues, smiles in shards of tears. ”

The painter very successfully applies abstraction in his painting. Moreover, it is not shapeless and unrecognizable, but rather organically harmonizes with real images and is distinguished by its beauty and convincingness. And what is important, all his creations have a positive vital energy, internal luminescence and philosophical content.

And if the main business of life for Eugene has always been painting. That main hobby is music and collecting musical instruments. The artist is very good as an amateur, owns flute, guitar and piano. And from long journeys, he certainly brings various musical instruments to his collection.

It is unlikely that an artist who does not have family happiness could create such amazing romantic canvases soaked in tenderness and love. Olga’s wife is an artist who teaches drawing at school and her son Egor is the foundation on which there is not only the artist’s work.
